I’m a photographer who specializes in headshot photography. I have years of experience with lighting, posing techniques and capturing your personality. My style is simple and timeless, keeping the focus on you while considering the background and overall composition of the shot.

Cost

For a session I charge 250$, which includes one headshot.

Each additional headshot costs 50$.

Corporate discounts of up to 20% are available for groups of 5 or more.

My process

Shooting

My headshot sessions usually last 30-45 minutes and the process is tailored to you.

When you get to my studio you can do some final touch-ups in the mirror.

Next, we’ll take some initial shots to finetune the lighting for you and walk you through some poses. This is where we can try a few different outfits if you’re still undecided.

I shoot with a tethered camera so you can see the pictures I’m taking in real time on my laptop. That way you get to see what the final product looks like and can make any changes right away.

I usually take at least 80 photos but the number of photos per session will vary. I will take as many as you need to find the perfect one! I’m very patient even if my kids don’t think so.

Editing and post-process

To keep a natural but great look, lighting does most of the heavy lifting and there is very little editing needed.

Retouching is included in my headshot fee but anything beyond that has additional costs (50$/hour).

At the end of the shoot, we go through the headshots together and pick one you will love!

Most people only need one headshot, but we can pick more. Additional photos are 50$ each.

I will email the finished product to you by the end of the day, but I can also accommodate faster service upon request.

5 tips and tricks!

I will go over everything in our session but if you want to be extra prepared here are 5 tips and tricks!

1. Wardrobe
   • Bring a change of clothes if you’re feeling indecisive! We can always take a few pictures with different options.
   • Your clothes should make you feel confident and fit you well.
   • Make sure your clothes are ironed and looking their best.
   • Keep it simple with few patterns and colours, but feel free to layer.
   • You know what you feel best in!
2. Grooming
   • Make sure you are ready and groomed, this includes hair styling, makeup and anything that gives you a polished appearance.
3. Getting ready
   • Get a good night’s rest and stay hydrated to look and feel your best for the shoot.
   • This may seem silly but remember to brush your teeth right before!
4. Posing
   • Selfies are a good idea if you want to practice your smile and pose in the mirror before coming.
   • The process is very intuitive, and I will guide you through every step once you get to my studio.
   • I always recommend trying on your outfit and taking some selfies in front of a mirror to see how you will photograph.
5. Location
   • Confirm the location and timing of the headshot session.
   • I’m located at 306 Bow Valley Trail #113B, Canmore. By CanGolf at Moose Meadows.
6. Relax
   • Remember to relax and have fun, be yourself.
   • Trust me to capture your best angles and expressions.
