Cost
The cost varies with your needs, but my full-day rate with an assistant $2000.
My process
Pre-Shooting
My process is highly tailored to your needs.
The first step of shooting is a pre-shoot consultation. Reach out to me to discuss the
details of the shoot to get the style and or any specific shots. The commercial
photography process and pricing varies greatly depending on requirements. This can
include:
- Additional assistant fees. Depending on the size of the shoot I may need to hire additional assistants.
- Travel expenses.
- Additional equipment rental. I will likely have all the necessary equipment in my studio, however there may be costs if additional equipment is necessary, ex: lighting, backdrops, props, etc.
- Rental fees can vary depending on the quality and quantity of equipment needed.
- Permits and locations. Some photoshoot locations require permits or have associated fees.
- Styling and Props. We may need to hire a stylist or purchase props for the photoshoot.
- Talent. This can include models, makeup artists, hair stylists and more.
- Additional retouching and editing.
I will then send you a quote and once the details have been finalized, you will sign a
contract with the relevant details.
In the days leading up to the shoot, I will confirm and iron out any details to make sure
the day of the shoot runs smoothly.
I check and prepare my equipment well before the shoot, including testing cameras,
lenses, lighting and any other necessary gear.
I always pack backups for all my camera and lighting gear, so nothing derails the shoot!
Shooting
Most commercial shoots will take a day.
During the shoot, I will work with you to capture the images you need, following the plan
set out in the pre-shoot preparations.
I will keep you informed and involved in the process throughout the day. An open line of
communication about your needs is key.
Editing and post-process
Basic retouching, colour correction and blemish removal are included in a shoot.
If any additional editing is requested, additional fees apply.
